সাদা কাগজে কালো পেনের আঁচড়, আর আঁচড় দিতে দিতে ছবি ফুটিয়ে তোলার আনন্দই আলাদা। কখনো অল্প রেখায়, কখনো অজস্র রেখার ঘন বুনোটে তৈরি হয় ছবি। যে ছবি সরাসরি মন থেকে কলমের কালি দিয়ে পাতায় এসে পড়ে। চেতনে-অবচেতনে যে ছবি তৈরি হয় তার অভিজ্ঞতাই আলাদা। ছবি বা ড্রইং যাই হোকনা কেন, সাদা পাতায় কালো কালির ব্যঞ্জনা আমায় মুগ্ধ করে। আমি ড্রইং করেই চলি।

Scratching a black pen on white paper, and the joy of painting while scratching is different. Sometimes in short lines, sometimes in dense textures of innumerable lines. That picture comes straight from the mind to the page with the ink of the pen. The experience of the image that is created in the consciousness-subconscious is different. Whatever the picture or drawing, the black ink consonant on the white page fascinates me. I just keep drawing.
