Amphan 2020

The super cyclone storm Amphan was a powerful and catastrophic tropical cyclone that resulted in huge damage in Eastern India, specifically West Bengal, Odisha and Bangladesh in May 2020. The effects of cyclone Amphan in India were extensive and historic. It was the first storm and strongest of the historic 2020 North Indian Ocean cyclone session experience that inspired me to create this series of paintings.
